During 2018 and 2019 Atama Furniture was contracted to supply both the in-built and loose furniture for the 718 bed Campus Perth and 296 bed Hostel G accommodation facilities in Stirling Street (Northbridge), together with FF & E for eight floors of common area.

The contract included involvement in design and value-engineering, the manufacture of custom furniture for the mock up rooms and new accommodation facilities, direct international manufacturer liaison, complete local, interstate and international supply chain logistics, substantial head contractor liaison and integration with a live building site, international client liaison and cultural management, global risk management, large scale workforce management, and delivering an on time and below budget project.
In addition to the supply of FF & E, Atama Furniture was also awarded contracts for the supply and installation of retro-fitted skirting, kitchen lockers, mattresses, curtains, rubbish disposal, electrical integration oversight, and stencil painting, demonstrating Atama Furniture’s flexible capabilities.
The project was complex and involved six months of contract negotiation, manufacturer liaison, preparation of more than 1000 manufacturing drawings, and prototyping samples before commencing a six month installation programme. The project installed more than 60 x 40’ container loads of FF & E weighing over 500 tonnes, and comprising more than 40,000 pieces of furniture.
